Children’s Ministries

Lower Providence Kids comes alongside children and their families so that they may seek and serve Jesus together. If you have any questions about our children’s ministry programs please reach out to our Director of Children’s Ministry, MaryAnn Alderfer, at 610-539-6635 or malderfer@lppcmin.org.

Nursery

Lower Providence Presbyterian Church is happy to provide loving nursery care for parents attending worship. Infants and toddlers newborn thru three years old are welcome. Staff and volunteers must obtain all appropriate clearances and training. Parents are given a silent pager so that we may contact you if your little one needs you.

Sunday School

Sunday school for children ages 4 years old thru 5th grade takes place during the 9:45 am worship service. Follow the signs from the Atrium to the children’s wing where a volunteer will be there to greet you and check your child in. At 11:00 am we provide extended activities for children whose parents are attending adult Sunday school.

Club 45

Club 45 is a program for 4th and 5th graders providing fun and fellowship and growth in Christ. We meet once a month to get to know each other and learn to be more like Jesus. We also do some great activities such as mini golf, a flashlight corn maze, bowling, messy game nights, ice cream sundae nights and whatever else we come up with!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is held every summer for a week in June from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Geared toward families with children prek-5th grade, VBS is a faith building experience for the entire family. Our VBS includes dinner, music, Bible lessons, fun skits, crafts and games. Childcare is available for children age 3 and under.

Family Nights

Christian community is an important part of how we seek Jesus together. To help with this, we provide family nights for families with kids and youth throughout the year. These nights are typically at someone’s house and include a simple dinner and time together. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Pastor of Family Ministry and Spiritual Formation, Cara Cavicchia, at 610-539-6635 or ccavicchia@lppcmin.org.
